A citation is a source display—not an endorsement.
Microsoft defines total citationsas citations displayed as sources in AI-generated answers across Microsoft Copilot, Bing and select partner AI experiences. The count does not reveal placement or presentation inside any individual answer.
The 23,134 displays were recomputed from 30 daily rows ending July 24. The preceding 30 days contained 19,976 displays, producing the 15.8% comparison above.
- What it supports
- UpLevered pages appeared as cited sources in the AI experiences covered by Bing's report.
- What it does not support
- Unique answers, people, clicks, ranking, quality, recommendations, endorsements, leads, purchases or revenue.
A small set of deep reference pages carried most of the result.
Bing's separate page report covered 20 UpLevered pages from through . The top five generated 90.1% of the 55,113 reported source displays.

This concentration is a strength and a limitation: the evidence is strong for a narrow set of technical references, not proof that every UpLevered page has the same visibility.
AI-assistant source labels also appeared in site analytics.
In a different, longer GA4 export, 981sessions carried ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot or Gemini source labels after China and Singapore were excluded. This is a separately dated dataset, not corroboration on the same denominator.

Definition: GA4 sessions grouped by recognizable assistant source labels; sessions are not unique people.
Boundary: A source label does not prove who visited, why they visited, institutional use or endorsement.
The named-firm evidence stays private.
How this record was built
- Bing AI Performance data was manually exported and normalized on July 27, 2026.
- The 30-day total, daily average and prior-period change were independently recomputed from the daily rows.
- Page and query figures use their separately labelled April 27–July 24 reporting windows.
- The GA4 cross-check uses a historical country-filtered export and a conservative list of consumer AI-assistant source labels.
Why no bank or fund logos appear here
Private referrer logs can contain company-associated hostnames. A hostname or isolated session does not establish who used the site, company-wide adoption, authorization or endorsement. UpLevered will not name a firm publicly without reproducible first-party evidence and permission.
The raw analytics exports are retained privately because they can expose referrer and query detail. The public figures above are aggregate, dated and reproducible from those reviewed exports.
UpLevered is retrieved as a technical source. Judge the work itself.
Read the reference pages, inspect the examples and use the published methods—not an implied logo endorsement.
